I was listening to the radio today when an article that was mentioned made me chuckle. I would say it made me lol but you'll understand why I've not used this term later. There was a woman who didn't quite understand the language of text. A few examples being, brb, rofl and the commonly used lol. Now this woman had heard about the tragic loss of a friend and decided to send a
sympathy card
. What she wasn't aware of though was that she was about to offend the receiver. She ended her message with lol thinking it meant "lots of love". Now for anyone who doesn't know the true text meaning of lol, it means "laugh out loud", Awkward!
